네덜란드 풍경의 현대 동양화적 표현
작가 원종임은 동양화의 감성을 바탕으로 네덜란드 풍경을 담아 낸 작품을 첫 SnW Kunst 전시에 소개하였다.
오래된 나무들이 즐비한 길, 잔 가지들이 하늘 높이 솟아 자라는 모습, 파란 잎사귀 보다 마름 가지들로 표현된 나무는 지금 겨울이
찾아온 네덜란드에서 쉽게 발견되는 모습들이다.
작가에게는 일상에서 잔잔하게 기억되는 시간들로 이루어진 수묵드로잉들은 무거운 겨울의 어두움을 가볍게 쳐내고 있다

거리와 가로등 그리고 사람
네덜란드의 작은 소도시 로테르담에서 쉽게 만나는 거리를 작품의 한 소재로 삼았다. 회색빛으로 표현된 건물 벽은 스잔하게 느껴지는 짧은 해를 받아어스름하게 거리를 비추고 있다.
띄엄띄엄 서있는 가로등은 겨우 길이 존재하는 것을 깨닫는 정도이다.

한지와 수묵채색의 네덜란드 소개기회
원종임 작가는 유럽에서는 생소한 한지와 수묵 채색을 이용하여 작업 한다.
이번 전시를 통해 지속적으로 유럽에 한국의 동화화와 그 현대적 해석을 네덜란드의 풍경이라는 소재와 연결하는 작가의 시도를 소개하는 기회가 될 것이다.

Contemporary oriental painting of the Dutch landscape
The artist Won Jongim captures the Dutch landscape based on the sensibility of Oriental painting.
Her work was introduced at the first exhibition for the SnW Kunst art space .
The road is filled with old trees, the twigs soaring high in the sky, and the trees represented by dry branches rather than blue leaves are now winter.
They are easily found in the Netherlands.
For the artist, ink-drawings composed of hours that are memorized in everyday life lightly overcome the darkness of winter.

Streets and streetlights and people
In the small Dutch town of Rotterdam, the streets that are easily met are used as a subject matter. The wall of the building, expressed in gray color, illuminates the streets after a short, sensuous year.
Sparsely standing streetlights realize that only a road exists.

Opportunities to introduce the Netherlands in Korean and ink
Artist Jong-Im Won works with Korean paper and ink-colouring, unfamiliar in Europe.
Through this exhibition, the artist's attempt to continuously connect Korea's fairy tale paintings and its modern interpretation to the material of the Dutch landscape in Europe
It will be an opportunity to introduce.
